Vibes needed for Jacob please

I feel terrible about this. I was distracted this afternoon by a dying feral cat and didn't close a couple of bunny cages properly. I had been gone about half an hour, sorting out a crush cage for the cat and a vet appointment, and when I got back to the bunnies, Jacob and George were together and fighting. Both are un-neutered boys. George is unhurt, but 5 month old Jacob got several deep bites and needed vet care (and Baytril). I feel so bad about this little man. He's booked in for his neuter next week, but I feel I have let him down so much. Isn't he a sweetie.

Oh that is such a shame. His bites will heal and it could have been worse if he had escaped and been killed. Sometimes things just happen but it is no reflection on the level of care you usually give. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Thanks everyone. he's a little bit quieter than normal today, but eating well and moving normally. he really really doesn't like his Baytril. I needed to wrap him up in a towel to give it to him.

Come on Jacob, be a good boy, it will make you feel so much better!

We all make mistakes love so please don't feel bad. A similar thing happened to me when I had more than one bun.

Does someone hold him for your whilst you give him is baytril? I usually hold Mr Snuffles and Paul uses a syrige to get it in. It works well.
