Re: why choose a vet bed?
Vet bed is brilliant for convalescing buns and for the winter. It is made from a synthetic material that keeps the buns warm and draws any moisture away from the bun at the same time. There are different grades of vet bed offering different thermal qualities.

You can buy it by the metre and cut it to fit whatever you want to put it in.

How do you know what grades they are, cheryl'n'bruce'flo?
I got a big piece, but i dont know how to tell what grade it is. Ive heard of the non slip stuff and vet bed gold in P@H but i havent the clue what the difference is really.
Ive just put some in hte playhouse tonight, and cut the last bit to fit in Jessy dogs bed. If its as good as its supposed to be, ill probably get a 5ft roll off ebay.

Some pet shops sell it by the metre. Vetbed gold is thicker than normal vetbed (it has a yellow backing) and it has stuff in it that fights harmful bacteria that makes it good for animals with wounds. And then there is flectabed which has a silvery stuffing that reflects the heat back to the body. I wouldn't recommend this one for a bun that chews.
