Who wants a button biscuit?!
I made these last night, realised I only had a fluted cutter, rubbish!! They need improving but not bad for a first attempt..... tuck in!

i can remember making christmas biscuits once with my mate for her nan who was visiting , everything was going fine and they looked awsum, the packet was in german ( i used to live there) and it said cook until golden brown....sound easy enough..... we sat around for ages waiting for these biscuits to go "Golden Brown" and after 20 mins we decided to get them out anyway...we iced them and decorated them and gave them to her nan.. they were rock solid!!! they looked lovely and all but lets just say they were used as christmas decoration on the tree that year!

I did make some! i wanted to trial it to see if i could do big shiny buttons so made specal icing but the indented bits just disappear.

Yep. Coeliac, so no yummy buns and biccies, or pasta or bread
Not that it's too difficult to avoid when I think of the consequences of eating gluten
I wonder what your wonderful creations would look like done with gluten free flour, seeing as most bread and cakes I can get are very solid and heavy not light and fluffy like yours

my brother had a button phobia as a child! whoops! he got over it but to this day he never undoes shirt buttons, he takes them off like t-shirts!
