Meet Eric and Biscuit
I picked up these unwanted bunnies last week. Poor Eric(the beautiful Himilayan) had the worst case of earmites our vets had ever seen and needed a GA so that they could flush out and clean his ears. Both buns were underweight with Eric weighing only 2.01kg and Biscuit 2.1 something(memeory is going ), but both have put on a good amount this past week. Although they are at least 6 months old they are sexually immature, probably because of the condition they were in, and haven't started fighting yet, but now that their health is improving I'm watching them like a hawk. They will be neutered in the next few weeks. Here they are..

No, not so far. I'm going to send the account again, but am not holding my breath!! They have a new puppy and I'm pretty sure they will use the same vet, so I'm going to try some blackmail!!(i.e. naming and shaming threats :lol!: )karen354 wrote:They are so lovely Hilda did you ever get the cheque off the previous owners?

Re: Meet Eric and Biscuit
Eric and Biscuit are setting off tonight on the next part of their journey to a happy future. They are going to be staying with Aunty Jill where theyll be de-plummed and then rehomed either together if their close bond remains intact (unlike their ill-fated plums :lol!: ), or paired up with nice wifebuns. I took them for their VHD jabs this morning and a last cuddle with the vet. Both put on some more weight again this week.

Re: Meet Eric and Biscuit
I hope Eric and Biscuit soon find new forever homes after Aunty Jill has them deplummed. They are lovely bunsters and deserve the best. :luv:
I misunderstood when I read your first post and thought that they were going to live with you. I really must pay attention.
That was usually what was written on my report card at school. Nothing much has changed.

Re: Meet Eric and Biscuit
The old owners did not "cough up"..suprise surprise..but these two bunnies were very lucky that Hilda took them in and cared for them so well
Thye have settled in here and have new names..(as we've had an Eric and a Biscuit before!)
So meet
Dylan and Derek!
They still need to put weight on so have been having extra rations including porridge with mashed banana which they love
Will be weighing them later today so fingers crossed they've gained a bit
