Good news from Milo!!!

A short update here, the george carpet washer hoover has arrived and I have put out a litter tray in the front room and the hall and he's used them all weekend for his wee's and only once used the spce next to his tray for his poops.

Ive praised him and put hay and treats in his bed.

Hubby is cleaning the carpets tomorrow and hopefully he'll continue to be good.

He's a pleasure to have when he's not peeing.

I thought given all the support you ahve given me it was only right to let you know.

I dont like the tray on the landing or front room but I think it will make us happier all round, he is out all the time as he's gaining our trust and we arent running around clearing up pee from the carpet.

I think maybe Lily has somehow had a word with him

He's obviously a bit slow on the uptake (my sons were hell to potty train). Must be a male thing!

He already did he's laken to climbing up the back of the sofa!, he used hubby and I as a climbing frame last night but it was so nice for him to sit on your lap and not worry about being pee'd on such a weight lifted

For the first time since we have had him, this weekend was a pleasure, no argyuments about what he's done and no cleaning up pee.

Granted we now have a small dog bed as a litter tray in the front room and a litter tray by the bathroom door but he is using them which saves my carpets and I figure if thats what it takes for him not to wee on the carpet then so be it.

Lily was exceptionally clean and only ever had one in her bed but she was a real lady and Milo bless we know he's short of the odd braincell or two so we'll have to have more litter trays but maybe from me being spoilt with Lily my expectations on him were too high.

It may be that in a few weeks you can start moving the trays back towards the door and out.....see how it goes.

Perhaps he has a weak bladder bless him, I have a husband like that!

Yes I do too after he's had a few beers
