Why is is always puppies? (not a dog related topic really)
I have just had a mini rant in response to a post on my facebook page. It was one advising people about the issue of puppy farms and the benefits of rescue. And I completely agree, but why is it always puppies getting the attention? I would say the farming of rabbits for petshops is a far bigger problem these days not least because a puppy will be a constant demand on the owner financially and emotionally, whereas you rabbit gets put in the garden and forgotten. Once this happens no-one will notice when it is unwell and we have all heard the bemused owners saying 'well I went out one morning and it was dead' and I find myself walking away before I give them the third degree - in most cases they won't buy another one. I know it is shouting in the dessert at the moment but it would be nice if just for once the message was that whatever pet you are considering you should check out the local rescues first.

Dont get me started!!! Ive had a massive row on my fb page also about the guy who wanted a bun for live pray for his dog, luckily my page is a community one and alot of bun worshiper or know how much mine mean to me, so they came on and defended the attack against me once I named and shamed the guy.
One guy said just buy a new one If it was caught by the dog that is, Im bloody sick of these idiots who think that animals who dont make noise dont matter as they dont communicate with them in a verbal sence so assume they are still "wild". All my dogs have either been about to be put in a home or from a shelter bar one I bought a few years ago.
Rabbits are so much more cuter to watch having fun, and bemuse themselves, where dogs and cats ets I find very needy.
