Introducing puppies to bunnies?
I wasn't sure where to ask this, but I am considering adding a puppy to our family next year, but would really like some advice on introducing a pup to my 2 indoor bunnies as I don't want to rush into anything and cause upset to our house!
Would love to hear your experiences and advice, I've been doing lots of research but some conflicting advices!
Thanks

Re: Introducing puppies to bunnies?
What sort of pup?
I think it is important to choose the right sort of dog to get the best chance of a good outcome. I would say no Greyhounds, lurchers, whippets, spaniels, labradors, dobermans, terriers, pointers, alsatians, huskies, beagles - nothing that have been bred as gundogs, hunters, chasers or runners. I reckon that the best option would be a fairly laid back dog such as a bernese mountain dog, St bernard, Bassett.

I have been lusting over Samoyeds for a while, they were originally used to herd reindeer! I have come across a few videos that keep Samoyeds and rabbits who live in supervised harmony, but obviously requires lots of training.
