"Hey, look what I found, there's another room back here"

Thumper has never liked kitchens. I clean her cage out in the kitchen/dining room and she doesn't usually move far from where I am. I went into the utility room to grab something, she watched me go and when I came back she toddled over and went in. (it's not at the back door like usual utility rooms.)

When she came back out, she looked at me then back at the utility room loads of times!! I swear she was thinking "where'd that room come from??" Her puzzled expression was hilarious



I don't have the heart to tell her there's another door in there that leads you to a big cupboard, we'll leave that for another day

Awww poor thumper! She is a bit old for getting that sort of shock!

She probably thought she had found where you keep her food.

well thats one way of making an old bun feel like she's suffering with dementia!!

It's funny you should mention dementia Lizzi, I've been wondering about dementia in rabbits quite a bit recently.

Think I'll let her off with this one though, we've only been in this house since June and she doesn't venture into the kitchen often

Some of her other antics do make me wonder however....
