I know I've asked this so many times before but... pics?
how can I make the bunnies' sheds interesting?
I can never work out how to do things like someone said I could fasten a shelf up but when I treied the screws were too long and stuck through th bottom of the shelf
Does anyone have any pics of ideas I could use? Thanks

Hey Beth
In my lots Kennel they have a huge haybale which they love to sit on and eat. Also Ghostie has eaten a little burrow that she sleeps in at night!
They have tunnels and a few cardboard rolls to play with
Today i'm buying some compost to go into a horse bucket (that i'm knicking from Hilly's) and popping that in there. That's so they can dig
Also i've got a little wigwam and a chair and a hutch they love jumping onto

We don't have a shed but they are in a home-made pen-type area (must get updated photos). For interest we have an old coffee table thing that Mr B nicked from work - we fixed the broken leg and wrapped weldmesh around it to enlarge the enclosure - it has 2 sort of slots (imagine 2 drawers with no actual drawers in them) which they climb into and hide in.
They have a small cardboard box (about 1/;2 shoebox sized from an old organiser) on top of the table where their hay is filled, they like to sit under the table too, we have some cheapo plastic stools and their pet carrier so they can jump up on top of the table, a towel there which is meant for grip but they love to dig at.
I bought some cheap little wicker bird's nest things from a petshop (really random) and strung them up with some twine from the mesh sides so they play with those, I have a loofah donut (from PP) and a chube - the chube they never touch lol
everytime we go on a booze run we put the wine bottles in boxes, which they love to play with (boxes not wine ), the old giant paper bags from PP hay, complete with a bit of hay... Oh and a REALLY long loo-roll sized tube (it's about 4 ft long, don't know WHERE it came from ) which they have been systematically shortening whenever they can.
I have tried them with loo roll stuffed with hay but they just trim the hay down and leave the tubes - little beggars
I would recommend anything that adds extra levels to an area - cardboard boxes, hay bales, an old cabinet/table etc if you find one at the dump - places to hide and anything to destroy! I think my pen looks a bit dull but I've tried lots of different things and they're never interested.
My motto: if they can destroy it, they'll be happy

Thanks for all the ideas Holly's shed needs a desperate make over, all she has is a little log, plastic chair and two litter trays
Re: I know I've asked this so many times before but... pics?
the thing is, you could go out and spend a fortune on fancy levels, houses, toys etc but if your are anything like mien they will studiously ignore the fancy stuff and go straight for chewing on the skirting board or digging on the towels
Re: I know I've asked this so many times before but... pics?
I know I hardly spend money on toys for them i just use the stuff we already have
Re: I know I've asked this so many times before but... pics?
I do that too. I learned the hard way that pricey 'toys' are not as much fun as either free cardboard objects or expensive out-of-bounds objects
