charlie met the baby girls
Well I let charlie meet the baby girls this morning, maybe a wee bit too early, he tried to hump bella, nipped her but didnt hurt her but she was a bit scared. Then later on he was munching away on his dry food and she went near it, oopsy she got told where to go, he chased her and hissed her I had to give him a row. So maybe I was a bit to quick in letting them that close without bars to keep the little ones safe from him, they are now in the shed as they were outdoor bunnies didnt want them getting to used to the indoor heat and loosing there winter coat, I fixed my blue cage we got for charlie, there so little so its perfect for them, keep them in that for a few weeks then use the big huge cat carrier and house them in beside charlie so he gets used to there smell in his territory rather than in ours. They are happy now, I got them a mid size tube from a new shop like the carboard ones in pets at home charlie has the full size one but thought they will be fine with the smaller one so it fits in the cage, they are already playing in it with the balls.

It'll take him time to get used to new buns. Especially girls (there's not an 'euwgh' smilie on here!)
Don't forget that they'll start getting hormonal soon, so it might be best not to introduce them into the same space until they are all neutered. Buns can change overnight when them hormones kick in...

Gonna call vet tomorow to get a check make sure girls and give them a good health check, the blue cage is big enough for them for a while, there tiny but mum was a mini rex and dad isnt that big, he came up to see me and sat on my feet but do you think I can remember what he looked like other than black and wee bit fat nope, think his ears were up the way but not big and not like a lop ear so think he a english or a dutch, am just guessing cant find pics online to give me an idea. I will take it very slowly, wont be with him till after xmas, but he needs the company, so the kids are all taking turns to go out and see him.

Re: charlie met the baby girls
I remember when our Grace gave birth to 5 babies not long after we gave her a forever home from a rescue and they were beautiful and absolutely amazing to watch grow, there was no way we could ever part with them and had to keep them all, Grace Bless her has outlived them all.
