red weather warning
For high winds in Scotland of 80mph. Don't forget to tie your rabbits down! I hope you all make it through unscathed.

Re: red weather warning
maybe tieing their hutches down would work better than tieing the rabbits down!!
I hope nothing bad happens! These winds lately are crazy! fingers crossed for a warm light wind year next year!!

Winds winds!!
I'm still on my bike here in NL and this afternoon it was viscious bordering on the dangerous. Used to wind but can't cope with the huge gusts
Hope they die down a bit soon.

Re: red weather warning
I never even knew about this warning, till hubby said stirling is closing schools, then m8 said there closing ours too, common I need my piece from the kids lol, they dont go out like other kids so round us 24/7 if not at school need my only break I get and their breaking up soon for the hols, I have an app tomorow for the thing I was concerned about last week, so I have to go, just hope kids are not off, my only worry is my son who travels far to school, goes over the forth road bridge which read they might be closing ALL bridges, how is he gonna get home, without driving all way to stirling to double back, so he might be sent home hour or so early before the weather gets to us. We had this a few months ago, high winds, never even moved a thing in the garden just the empty black glass recylce bin which is just like a large toy box. Nothing else had moved.

Mentioning the lops made me remember a TV series we had here in the US back in....well...I'm older than dirt so it was maybe the 60's? Any way the series was with Sally Field and called 'The Flying Nun'. Her veil acted like a wind foil and she got loft. That makes m think that if those the precious little lops would just hold their ears just so....they would just fly!

Re: red weather warning
Well oldest cant go to school today as they are closing the bridges at 12, so he would probs have to be picked up at half 11 to make it to the bridge in time, so he can help me and hubby move charlies house over, it wont do much wind wise, the garden is sheltered a bit but gets a mini whirl wind, never strong enough to move much, but where he is sitting is flooding as the drain is to slow to drain, dont want it to soak into his house and waste the wood.

If you have bunnies in outside hutches or sheds or aviery's please make sure that everything is secure and the bunnies are safe. If you have a secure shed or outbuilding move the hutch inside. I don't mean to be bossy I'm just worried.
Just keep safe everyone!

Re: red weather warning
Charlies house is about same size as the shed lol, so no danger be moving that, gonna try move it tho over away from the drain since it has a habbit of flooding or slowly draining, this might be impossible tho the wood is heavy and with all the other stuff inside its even heavier. 3 litter trays with the wood pellets, the top level which is strong wood, tub of straw, wood arch, tunnel, toys, all mount up.

Wondering if should bring charlie in, but only way can bring him in is if ran up to pets at home for a pet pen, cos house isnt bunny safe, or used the dogs cage, which isnt really big enough for him.
