Something weird's happening to my replies...

I go to 'Quick reply', type what I want, add an emoticon and then...I'm transported to the 'Post Reply' page, what I've typed has disappeared, and I have to type it again, but can use emoticons. Is it just me?

Am I being stoopid, am I , , or what ?

When you try to click on the emoticon does it appear as a text cursor or a selection cursor?

well it was fine, now it's doing it again...I'm confused...easily I'll stay off Quick reply for now.

My work PC does it (Mac on Safari) but not my home one (WE7) so I think it' s a glitch between the software and the forum....I'll ask about.

Ok, I'm trying this on IE, to see if it's a browser thing (usually use Firefox)
and.....emoticon emoticon... it works!
So it may be a setting in my browser or a incompatibility with Firefox. I'll have to use IE for HH for now

I use Firefox all the time now and it definitely does some funny things at times - but only seems to do it with HH. Not noticed anything with my post replies, but quite often have to refresh as the forum doesn't display properly.

I am on firefox too and have that same problem Becca! The forum doesn't display properly, its all bunched up and on a white back ground, so I just refresh.

Yeah, I get that too, not all the time though me thinks that this forum software and the new FF are having the odd glitch, but it's not that big a deal really

I'd still rather be on Firefox than IE so I can put up with the bigger size I'm getting in posts and the funny displays. Thank heavens for the refresh button
