Love My heart leaps when i think of how her life has changed and i feel very privilaged to have been a part of it. Im so glad shes fighting fit now, gorgeous girl.

Marley is envious of her wicker hay rack from THE. He asked me for it when he was writing his Christmas list, but i said no because he would just eat all £7 of it within a week! Rolling Eyes

I can't find the original thread that Sophia (MarleyNfriends) put up but to cut a long story short she needed a home urgently for Lucy Rose as she was being kept in a small arc in the garden of her neighbours house and they wanted rid of her and if they couldn't find a home they were going to dump her on the moors. (Sophia will correct me if I'm wrong).
I read it and it upset me and Mike read the thread and said we will give her a forever home. Mike took her to the vet's and she had a tumour which we had removed and the tumour was benign and she had muscle wastage in all 4 legs due to being confined to a small space for a long time, she is now a very happy and loving bunny and her legs are much better because she has the space to move about.

This is when we got her home

Yeah thats right, except she was in my neighbours mother in laws garden because they dumped her on the childrens grandmother when the kids got fed up. No Then the grandmother wanted rid of her and her son was going to dump her on the moors. Mad

I dont talk to my neighbours now unless i have to. Mum suggested i go tell the kids how shes getting on, but they dont deserve to know. If they didnt care about her when they had her, why should they get to know how shes doing now?! HBWS Im happy to say, their parents didnt get them the snake and the rat that they wanted. I've just read it again and I'm in tears to think that Lucy Rose could have spent 3 years stuck in a small hutch but seeing how bad her legs were....it must have been true Crying or Very sad

You guys... honestly, your magical Smile Maysie she looks like a different bunny altogether! I had no idea, I completely missed this whole thing- I thought it was odd that you had a new bun when I know you guys hadn't long had Jess and were busy bonding bunnies and taking care of poorly buns too. Well, she may just be the luckiest bun on the planet. You have made me blub for the second time tonight (the first involved 'don't tell the bride' - he bought he a dress that made her look like a hooker) - Rorys fluff is sticking to me sticky snotty face - I'm a mess Smile
