squee piggy baby

I was looking through my old photos folder and came across these of Nutmeg and Fred. She had only just given birth in the first couple. Unfortunately I did not feel able to look after the boys - I adopted 3 girls from a large rspca rescue all in pretty bad shape ad it turned out they were all preggers - so Fred and Treacle's boy Nobby went back to find new homes. I don't seem to have any pictures of Nobby which is a shame because he was gorgeous. I think it is amazing how big piggy babies are when they are born. No wonder the pregnant mums lok like beached whales and yet they seem to give birth very quickly when you back is turned.

So cute. I remember our piggie having babies when I was a kid. They were so cute.

It's amazing isn't it how baby guinea pigs come into the world all fully clothed

awwwwww baby piggies,when i went and got rubee and fudge,the breeder thought fudge might be pregnant,so i was excited but shes not,shes just a fat piggy a little gutted but probably best as i would have kept them all
