It's Snowing White Fur!

Its everywhere! I just hoovered and the amount that came up off the rug was shockng! Its like Dougal has been rolling everywhere. He wasn't even out when I got home from work so he's done it in less than 24hours!!

I'm going to have to give him daily brushes for a while I think!

What's he an outdoor bun before you bought him home? If so he will have a mega moult for a while I'm afraid!

To be honest though it's probably a good thing to brush him every day for a bit, not just for his benifit, but it will help you bond with him!!

Thumper wasn't white, but still, I went through about a million lint rollers

The garden was a mass of flo fur earlier.

Oh yes you got it in one!! He was outside until last Friday when he was first bonded with Florence. What fun!

I've just got back from the gym and there is a brush full, so hubby has been having fun with him!! I got one out of him before I went too. I'm a bit concerned about Florence digesting some of it. I might get them some pineapple tomorrow, just in case.

Is it me or does white fur go further than black?!

Depends if you have dark furniture!! our carpet is beige so buttons black fur stands out like a sore thumb!!

As far as fur goes just make sure there is plenty of hay for her to nibble!! The roughage of the hay should be enough to breakdown any hair and move it through her/his system!! You only really need to worry if your buns aren't 100% healthy!

Oh yes the dreaded white fur... I have SUCH a problem. We have grey carpet in the bunnies' bedroom and it is actually 100% white now because of the rabbit fur all over it. I'm lucky right now I can just close the door and pretend it's not there, but I won't be able to do that soon I'm afraid.

Have you got a ferminator? I find it's really really handy for moulting buns. The best thing ever, it really gets all the fur out.
