Gizmos litter training in new home

So Gizmo has went to a new home a week ago and he was nearly litter trained just the odd poop here and there, the girls who have got him is keeping up with him same litter and tray etc but every time they are letting him out he is peeing everywhere and pooping all over? when he is confined he is doing it in his tray just not when he is allowed out.

Any ideas?

They need to slowly allow him more space. The problem is he is being allowed too much space too fast.
