You have such a talent for capturing their essence which is incredibly difficult with portraits of anything.

What talent we have on this site. I received my gorgeous Hare prints today too. Just blown away by both of you.

Would you manage to do one of my two? Wolfie and Gloria.

I have just been seeking inspiration really in the photoshoots section. I am just sort of practising really - I am a bit rusty. The focal areas are ok but I am still struggling to keep everything in perspective and with the right amount of detail etc. If you point me in the direction of some good photos of them I may find inspiration there. I am not promising anything I am terribly inconsistent in my application to these things.

I have showed family, friends and work mates the drawing of Thumper and they have been amazed by your talent. They have commented that you really captured her character. There is no mistaking that that is my Bubba in the drawing.

I found the pics on the rainbow bridge posts as well. I didn't know if there were any more around in photoshoots or anywhere. I am sure I can find some inspiration from the photos.

It's about time she had her comeuppance!

They take a 30 mins-4 hours depending on how pedantic I am feeling and what I am trying to do. I started the one of Wolfie at about 6pm this evening. And the one of Gloria took a couple of hours earlier. But I was more experimental in approach with Wolfie using water soluble pencils as well as pastel pencils and drawing pencils.

They are lovely Cheryl, they really are. I have an awful habit of overworking something but you've got it just right there. I'd love to see one of my lot I drew Vince and after I'd coloured him he looked like a cat with rabbit ears

Don't you worry - Boo is very much on my list. But still

I so love Boo. In that first pic I think like he is thinking 'OMG. I am a panther. Who thought it was funny to stick me in the rabbit body? Not amused and it's not even like I can savage someone in protest!'

he is a beauty, such a lovely little charecter too. He has started looking a bit scruffy as he grew his winter coat but has the most velvety plush fur of all my rexes. Just a shame he doesn't like cuddles, I have to carry him in a headlock if I want to transport him somewhere
