Small Poos
One of the bunnies (I *think* Florence but can't be totally sure) has done a lot of teeny poos during the day. Both bunnies are eating fine and are lively, well Dougal is as lively as he ever is (i.e lazy) but it's concerned me.
Is there anything I can give them to help it? Could it be caused by them ingesting Dougals fur?

Re: Small Poos
You have them on Pro-C permanently, don't you?
When you give them nuggets, does one of them eat more than their share (and as a consequence, may be eating less hay / roughage)?

Re: Small Poos
They've got Pro-C, they are drinking tons of it!! They've been eating a lot of hay, they love the new stuff from Hay for Pets, however I suspect that hubby has been giving them extra pellets. They keep begging him for food as he's been home sick, and he told me he's been "feeling sorry for them" only having hay to eat The rescue told me that Dougal ate faster than Florence, but we are finding that he eats the piece of food slower, especially pellets. They both seem to be sharing the food.
I've just put them in some parsley, basil and spinach and they are wolfing it down. I'm just a bit worried where there is a lot of fur flying about that there might be hairballs.
I think it is Florence, because there were some in the play tunnel and she has started laying in it, whereas Dougal has to pluck up his courage to even go through it!!! He's also been eating a lot of cecals tonight (he produces loads compared to Florence). If it is Florence she's finishing off the herb and spinach dinner very nicely!! Dougal hopped off for a wash while Florence stayed at the bowl

Re: Small Poos
It could be the first signs of teeth probs. When you go in for jabs just make sure the vet takes a look in her mouth.

Honestly, your pair seem more like my pair everytime you post!
I've had a few small poos but almost all have been normal size.

Re: Small Poos
I'm starting to wish I'd kept all the fur, I'd have enough for a new coat
It is one massive moult, I've never known anything like it. Everyday when I get home from work the rug the play pen is on has turned white. They have a little dog bed and this morning that was all white inside. Thankfully he doesn't mind being brushed, I've also used the lint roller on him a couple of times. I'm going to weigh him one evening, to see how much he's lost due to all the fur! He is so much skinnier, I'm hoping its not going to go on for much longer. I dread to think how much both of them have ingested. I know I have a bit

Re: Small Poos
One of them, this time I think Dougal, has had some furry ones today.
I think I might give him a crew cut
(I am only joking by the way)

Re: Small Poos
Sounds like a Micro Joe moult - white fur EVERYWHERE (floor, his floor sheets, tunnel...)
It's good if you can pull the loose fur out (gently!) as sometimes brushing doesn't get into the fur. We use a little comb that is good and of course the plucking method

I need to get underneath him, but if I try I get thumped at! Florence keeps sticking her head under him and comes out with a chunk of fur in his mouth Dirty girl!!
