I was a bit less grumpy this morning, I came out and had a play with Humum before she went to work
I'm resting behind the sofa again now, but that's normal for me this time of the evening. No doubt I'll get disturbed when she wants to peer up my nose
Thanks again for the vibes peeps, they do help so much

Rumor has it she has got several planned. I won't
say who told me. But I imagine you can guess--
You might want to watch the mail to see if
any party favors arrive as well as sparkling
carrot juice.
Just sayin'.

Re: Sparky - updated 06-03-12
Humum has just heard from the vet, who has had some info back from the RWAF chap.
He agrees with the diagnosis of Pasteurella and that the treatment I have been on is appropriate. The alternative would have been a long course of Baytril, and that didn't help any of the other buns. Plus I hate hate hate hate oral meds, especially Baytril, and fight them terribly so trying to give me that would just stress me out, whereas Humum and Hudad have got good enough with the jabs that I don't even notice them now
He also suggested some X-rays under light anaesthesia, but as stress is one of the things which kicks it off and I am so nearly well again, Humum and the vet have decided that they won't be done at the moment but could be in future if required.
Last night should have been my last jab of this course but as I still have a slightly damp nose, Humum is picking up two more from the vet tomorrow so I can have a few more days of treatment and then they'll see how I am.
I've been well enough to tear around indoors and out, up and downstairs, pull faces at my parents and get under the Hu-parents feet though

I'm glad you are well in spirit Sparky!! Hopefully these last two jabs will get you back on top form.
It's also good to hear that a plan of action is in place for if you become unwell again.

Re: Sparky - updated 06-03-12
I am sure that your hu-parents feel so much better knowing that the course they are following is not only working but seems to be the most effective from an expert's point of view. There is no point enforcing a regime that makes the patient ill with stress as it is so counter-productive.

Re: Sparky - updated 06-03-12
Thanks peeps
It's also such a relief to the Hu-parents that they have found such a wonderful vet who is just as determined not to give up on us - being able to have such faith in her has been one less thing for them to worry about

Sparky so glad your treatment is working, and I can totally understand where your hu-parents are coming from with having a fantastic vet who works for the very best interests of their patients. Fudge and I were very lucky that we had such a relationship with Matt, Jim, Jo and Aoife. They started as vets and because of Fudge we are now friends.
