Re: Carrier Question
They have arrived already so I got to make my trip to the vet in a posh new cabriolet
Humum found it a bit fiddly to put together - getting the halves of the lid on before popping the clips in to hold them was awkward and the instructions don't make it explicit enough quite how these line up. Also, when she clipped the front on and thought she had it on properly, it came off again, so she ended up giving it a good whack with the heel of her hand and that worked.
In use, it was brilliant. Humum liked the fact that the clear door wraps up over the roof a bit, so when I was in it on the passenger seat of the car she could see me better than when I am in a mesh-fronted carrier. I liked it too, instead of moping in a corner I was looking around and chatting to Humum all the way to the vets (I ignored her on the way back though ) It was very easy to get me in and out of, although when she opened the lid she was careful that I didn't leap out (she can read my mind at times ).
Humum also likes the food / water dish arrangement which could be filled and emptied without opening the door or roof.
Downsides - it's not as huge as our bigger mesh-fronted carrier, although still a good size. You have to be careful to clip the door properly closed, you can't just push it in and assume it has clipped in properly. And it's too much of a pain to take apart to store so ours are going to be stored intact. She says that 'normal' people with 'normal' bunnies don't have to go to the vet every five minutes, so if it was only being used infrequently it should come apart again ok to store. Humum says if we'd paid £40 for it she would have wanted the fit and assembly to be perfect, but we didn't so she'll let them off.
Overall, at £25-ish each, a big thumbs-up from Sparky and Humum

Re: Carrier Question
also for storage i find using them as toilets/munching spots makes them a bit more useful. I just slide the door off and let Marshall go in there to eat and hide when he likes [its on top of his indoor cage so out the way and he seems to be obsessed with going up there any ways ] but yea i agree for 25quid they are great

Not quite true, I was sent one to review, but they sent me a pink one - and no self respecting Stewie can be carted around in that
So Sarah Jane now has it, and we are going to buy the grey one, just haven't got around to it yet...
Father Jack - they are brilliant
I had wondered about the pink choice.
Stewie looked like he gave it the Stewie Bunsta Seal Of Approval!
