Hudad says pretty much any water based stain should be OK

They tend to get it all over their fur as they can't really hold a paintbrush.

Ronseal also do an equivalent too which ive used on the inside of the playhouse. Its fab because it leaves a wipeable finish. Perfect for wet weather and perfect for bunnys who like to pee all over!cheryl'n'bruce'flo wrote:I usually use garden shades.

We have used Ecos paints - http://www.ecosorganicpaints.com/
We used this around the house, and also for animal pens. I believe they do a varnish too. Expensive, but safe. Apparently better for humans too.
