A year ago today - Lily

A year ago today I lost you my darling.

I miss you everyday and not a day goes by that i dont think about you.

Ive replayed the events in my mind and tortured myself and I still come up with the same questions Did you think I deserted you and were you scared?

I promise darling I would have come if the vet had told me but he said there was no rush but I finished work as early as i could.

You know I share a lift so couldnt drive home myself.

We tried to get to you as soon as we could but less than 5 mins from you, you left for the bridge.

Was it because you gave up hope on me or becuase you didnt want me to suffer.

I dont know and I never will.

All I know is that I feel the pain still like it was yesterday and the tears still stream too.

You were my one and only xxx

Lily would never have thought you deserted her, you two had a bond which was very special and she knew that right the way until the end.
