Their first full day home alone!
I'm back to work today...
I wonder what chaos I'm going to go home to
I'm half expecting Molly to be out of the pen again
I'm pretty sure the pen will be trashed. I was on the phone to OH not long ago and he was telling me Junior was doing his dinger last night destroying the straw mat thing. He could hear him downstairs
There will probably be pee everywhere The vet bed was soaking again this morning. I'm really hoping them being locked up all day is going to help with the litter training!
Fingers crossed my house is still in one piece when I get home

You've just got to hope they haven't invited their sisters and parents over

Re: Their first full day home alone!
It's all good!!! Well, kinda!
Molly was still in the pen!
There were poops everywhere but the pen was dry, as was the cage apart from somebun had tiddled down the back of the litter tray. And of course they would have thought they were doing it in the tray, so I'm rather chuffed
When I opened the bedroom door, Molly ran up to me at the end of the pen! Junior had a slower walk over, but that's just his way
I'm impressed!!

Re: Their first full day home alone!
Their parents aren't much tidier! I have a litter tray in the sitting area and two in their bedroom. They poo in the livingroom tray and then do tons of poos all over their hutch and generally have a pee in the opposite corner too! I might just get one huge little tray for them as they are proper mingers.
Glad your guys were fine for the day. They have each other for company and will be absolutely fine.

Well done Molly and junior!
I remember when we started trialling "operation trustbunny" this involved leaving Daisy free-ranging while we were at work....I worried all day, and got home to find he had been an angel and nothing was ruined. It didnt seem to be as much fun to him if we werent there to tell the little monster off!

Sound so much like human toddlers. It's no fun if nobody is there to appreciate all of their diligent 'work'.
