Re: my easter egg
Wow! That'd last about 30 seconds in our house.
My sister in law got married in the summer and we had to buy her present twice (giant bar of Hotel Chocolat) because we ate the first one
We can't be trusted with chocolate!
Enjoy x

Re: my easter egg
We waited until the day before the wedding before buying the second one! And we wrapped it up all pretty too.
I think it looked less pretty after a hot sweaty, minging tube journey and then a few hours on a train from London to Cardiff.
They assured us it was in perfectly good condition though.

Re: my easter egg
at Sue_pawz, I would so do that too!!
I'm a sucker for chocolate.
Last year I bought myself a load of £1 Easter Eggs because I said as I was 30 that year I couldn't possibly have Easter Eggs once I was 30.
A few weeks ago my mum asked me if I wanted an Easter Egg, my reply "yes please"!!!

Re: my easter egg
This thread brings up the first childhood trauma I remember. My grandparents
had bought me a big chocolate bunny like the one in the picture. I refused to
eat it. I knew it wasn't real, but I still thought it might hurt the bunny....I
was 2 1/2. my dad broke off the ears and handed them to me. I was hysterical.
I still remember that vividly. I still feel a twinge of guilt when I eat a chocolate
bunny.....I'm 57.

That looks fab. They have some even bigger ones in M&S, they look like giant Lindt bunnies. Pretty impressive!

Wow! That's made me dribble a bit
I wouldn't let mine see me eat it either, 'What are we living with? Are we next?'
