Cheap rabbits
Someone posted a facebook status asking if anyone knew where they cld get a cheap rabbit! So I rightfully...say its cheaper in the long run to get a rescue rabbit, I explained why, explained about the possible health risks of getting a petshop/breeder rabbit, he says "good point". All seems to be going well.
But no...log back on...and everyone has ruined my good work! Someone bloomin suggested gumtree for free ads and then smeone else said they had baby rabbits and he cld have one of them! At least I tried I guess! Why can't ppl just listen ugh.

Re: Cheap rabbits
You can lead a horse to water... well done for trying.
Whether right or wrong, I have an account on preloved where I post details of the Pawz rabbits. We're getting a good bit of interest from it, and Molly is being bonded with a male whose mummy got in touch through them.
But I do get messages from people who get huffy when I explain about home visits and them paying a fee.
You never know, this person may take on board what you have said.

Re: Cheap rabbits
People can be so ignorant and no matter how hard we try some will just never listen simply because the majority over rule us with the wrong info.
Well done for trying lovely.

Re: Cheap rabbits
One of the regulars posted this on the RWAF FB page which I think rather proves your point.

I'm sure that you educated some by making your post. Many read but few comment if they find they agree with what you said. Good job!

Re: Cheap rabbits
An idiot lassie I know put on her facebook wanted FREE rabbit with hutch. She got one for £15 never knew a damn thing about it, the so called reputal breader didnt care that she lived in a flat with 3 kids all from 6 mnths - 4 years and a another baby on the way, no garden and guess what the rabbit was. A continental giant, she was only 8 weeks old when I seen her and she was bigger than my charlie is now and he is fully grown. She had him in the varanda in what I could only think is a old sideboard with a fire gaurd in front of it. They moved out but no clue if the poor bunny is still alive.
