You know you're a mad bunny lady/bloke when...

This is me kind of ripping off a thread on another forum (that one is you know you're an asthmatic when...)

So, I'll start.

You know you're a mad bunny lady when you get excited about the colour of poop. (what the neighbours must've thought when I screeched "ooh yay, golden poop" I will never know...)

I think after today, hudad will be getting excited if Sparky does no poops Or at least, no poops where she shouldn't

u get up in the morning and make sure all the bunnies are ok

when you go sniffing the hay,to see if it smells sweet

and when i go searching through the veg in the stores and keep putting it back and saying "oh no,this will never do for the buns"

When you switch to organic veg because it will be better for the animals not you.

i do that!!! I go round picking a bag of carrots up looking at them all then I turn and say to my mum, erm no the bunnies won't like them

... you go to the garden centre with a list of bunny-safe plants, rather than the ones you really love...

i do this, people look at me like im buying the hay for me to eat

When, while telling the florist that you want

"To Nan, happy mothers day love Daisy, Charlie & Annabelle" on the flower delivery

and she says "what lovely names your children have"

and Im not able to leave it at that and say

"oh no, they are better than children - they are my bunnies!"

She said she needed a giggle!

When u go in to get a name tattoed and the tattooist asks is Paris your daughter, no shes my very first rabbit and she means everything to me (true story)

You find the first strand of hay in your bra. (obviously being non-judgemental on this forum, the guys among us who wish to share this one are free to pile in too!)

Your washing machine has just broken down and you're pretty sure it is because it is full of hay.

Also you are finding you have more pictures/portraits/photos decorating your house than you do of people.

When you'll happily pick up bunny poo piece by piece with your bare hands and give the odd piece a squeeze for good measure

when house hold items and the kids toys make their way into the bunny houses cos the buns would like to play with them Dh does his nut!!

When your bunny eats healthier than you do!!

When you realise you hoover a lot more than you used to because you don't like them having a dirty pen

When your boss asks you what they got you for mothers day (nothing )

1. You actually taste the hay occasionally to make sure it is still sweet and not going bad.
2. You look at the holes in your clothing and/or furniture that your Bridge Bunny has left behind and you cry because you miss them so much.
3. You feed the bunnies before your family and give them the choice bits.
4. You never forget to ask God to bless your bunnies during your prayers. But the kids--yes.
5. You spread the bunny's greens across the living room floor so simulate foraging but yell at your kids if they drop a tiny leaf.

Just to name a few! Love our bunnies!

You spend £80 on something then drill holes in it for them

the pet shop stand at the door waving and smiling at you as you pull up in the car park
and when 90% of the veg and fruit has been bought and approved by you and your bun

I just realised another of these last night - when looking at houses for the future you comment 'no Nibbler wouldn't like that'......

When you are viewing property and you say " Oh this room is brilliant we can fit at least 4 indoor cages and play pens in here" (like I did)

:lol I was going to say this! ... glad its not just me! I have found it in my knickers before now too!

....When hay becomes a condement!
