chill and chew matts
Does anyone use chill n chew matts, I am thinking about ordering 3 for the bunnies, they look like door matts but smaller, be made of safer stuff tho so not like can just buy a cheap door mat and stick it in. There only £3 each on ebay, not checked greenyards hopefully they stock them so dont have to wait, feel my little guys could be doing with more to chew, rosie seems to have less than the rest yet she had more someone must have binned her chew toys by accident at her big clean. So she deffo needs more stuff.

Yes. My two are half way through eating one.
They're great because while they are chewing that, they aren't chewing anything else

We've had them, but we tend to widdle on them rather than chew them so Humum gave up They're worth a go at £3 each though.
Maybe your Rosie is the same
Our Rosie is quite capable of destroying a chew toy in a few hours, with no evidence that it ever existed.dizzylynn wrote:rosie seems to have less than the rest yet she had more

Re: chill and chew matts
She may well have chewed it till was gone, will get them more tho no harm in having more than none. They been out in the garden last 3 days from 8 in morning till half 7 hour each rotate it so they all get out and plenty play time. Dont need to weed anymore, they eat it all saves me a fortune on week killer and they enjoy it, not used weed killer in about 5 tears tho got a gas wand, but the gas can be pricey.
How long do the matts last normally, so know if best getting 2 each to last a while

Re: chill and chew matts
Ive had a couple. Sometimes they get peed on, sometimes they get dug, other times they get chewed up and other times they get flopped out on. Mine love them, and they make less mess than the grassy mats that you can buy.

Re: chill and chew matts
used mine as a 'pee guard' around marshall's toilet in his cage to stop it going up the walls .... worked really well
He wasn't too interested in chewing it tho

Do you mean these https://www.thehayexperts.co.uk/Toys+%252526+Fun+Things.6/Chill+n+Chew+Mat.467.html
We buy them from the Hay Experts and most of our buns have them in their play pens they love them and it keeps them occupied.
