The wild birds are now busy building nests ready to lay their eggs and so if you are brushing your bunny just save the fur and shove it in a hedge or
we put our fur in a Chicken egg basket which was my Mum's and she gave it to me but we don't eat eggs so I use it for nest material for the birds in the Summer
and hang it on a tree. The little birds will be glad of it for their nest's and it will keep the baby birds cosy and warm.

Angora Jess kindly donated her fur this time so the birds are getting good quality bedding Laughing Laughing

Wow! That's a lot of fur! Laughing

We don't like to encourage birds to our garden. Our Gizmo is too keen a hunter No

We have a couple of Sparrowhawks and they take a lot of our birds and I know it's nature and at all that but it's horrendous to see and I get so upset as I know most of
the birds that feed in our garden and I have names for some of them and they are quite tame, but I have moved all the feeding stations where I can see them and keep an
eye on them and when I do see the Sparrowhawk I just sneak to the door open it slowly and clap really loud and it goes off.

It's not just that he kills them, he has a habit of hiding them, and then you have to play follow the smell to figure out where it is so you can get rid pale Shocked

What a lovely thing to do for the birdies! it's not as soft as bunny fur, but the lint from the lint trap of the clothes dryer
is quite nice and soft for the birdies!
