Sparky's got a bun-friend
I hope I can suitably embarrass her
His name is Gizmo and the huparents picked him up from Tameside this afternoon, the same place they picked up Layla from. Apart from Sparky being a bit skitty, the first date seems to be going well

He is an ill-mannered Mancunian who has nicked all my food and tried to hump me
The hu-parents are about to take us out on a 'romantic' drive....

Re: Sparky's got a bun-friend
Well, the drive has calmed him down a bit. Although Hudad wouldn't let him have a turn behind the wheel.
Humum picked him on the basis of size and temperament - he's a friendly little fella (a bit too friendly in my eyes) who wasn't skitty in his hutch and was happy to have a cuddle with Humum.
He just happens to be quite handsome too although Humum says that they all were.
I'm sure we'll get on just fine when I've drummed some manners into him...

Re: Sparky's got a bun-friend
Oh Sparky he is gorgeous and Tameside rescue is where we got little Enya and Jess from, I don't know how they manage as they have so many bunnies there. We have been three times, twice for bunnies and on a bun run collection.
Oh Sparky I am so happy for you but you are going to have to behave now in front of your new boyfriend
Yayy another Lancashire Bunny

Re: Sparky's got a bun-friend
Sparky - show him that link from bunnyhugga about how bucks should behave. That will work.
He is adorable. Hope you have a long and happy relationship, but show him the rules now so he doesn't take advantage

Manchester was just about 40 mins away from us at Preston and to most people in Blackpool and Preston is classed as Lancashire Mike is from St Helens, with a Warrington postcode, and Warrington is classed as Cheshire and yet the address is St Helens, Merseyside.

Congrats Sparky. An arranged marriage in this day and time. He is
a rather charming fellow. I think he looks rather jaunty with the different
colored ears. You look cute together~

Re: Sparky's got a bun-friend
They do look after them nicely, the hutches aren't massive (and there are a lot of them ) but are always clean and both Layla and Gizmo are in fabulous condition.Tuckerbunnies wrote:Oh Sparky he is gorgeous and Tameside rescue is where we got little Enya and Jess from, I don't know how they manage as they have so many bunnies there. I don't know about that, he pulled some threads in the hall carpet yesterday, just by the bit where I stripped the wallpaperTuckerbunnies wrote:Oh Sparky I am so happy for you but you are going to have to behave now in front of your new boyfriend

I did once. I think it shocked us both a bitfiver wrote:oh sparky he's gorgeous

He's fine. But I am being an Awkward Little Madam. He is very chilled out and will flop out and sleep, but he gets frustrated when I won't interact with him much and then he prods me until I thump and run to the other side of the pen. The Hu-parents knew I would be tough to bond as I am so spoiled and don't really accept that I am a rabbit any more and don't much like other rabbits. It comes down to whether me or Humum is the more stubborn. I think I might not get my own way this time....icedancer wrote:How's it going today with Gizmo Sparky?

Sparky, I'm very happy that you're playing hard to get. Florence was a little tart when she went speed dating, she just saw Dougal and threw herself at him. She could have had a bit more dignity
I'm sure you'll soon enjoy having a norty partner in crime!
