Advice what shall we do Hoppers ?

Ruby lives in a pen in the boarding shed as she was given to us along with Charlie after her owners had a premature baby and this was the only space we had and she has been on her own since Charlie died.
We are hoping to bond her with Barry the Bun and moved him over today to be next to her and it all is going fine at the moment. Barry usually lives in the garage with the other rescue buns that we have but he hasn't his own pen like the rest and get's to go in the spare pen every other day.
Mike and I are thinking of leaving him over there while we have no boarders in needing the pen and that means he gets to stay out all night like Ruby, she would have company and Barry get's to have a big pen. Else we were bringing him back over later to go back in his hutch in the garage.

What do we all think

Leave him there! If they aren't upset by the other ones presence then I would just go for it.

When Florence and Dougal were bonded, ok it wasn't by me, they were put together and never separated I do tell Florence off for being so easy!

If they seem happy then try it

We are watching them both on the tv screen in the garage as we have cctv on them and Mike has just taken this photo off the screen....it's looking good

Awwww - leave him there, he looks really contented being in there with Ruby.

We left him next to her we couldn't take him away from her and we have been watching them and they have been so funny, Barry has been showing off and then Mike said Ruby was washing his head through the wire partition.
Charlie wasn't always kind to Ruby sometimes he would chase her and take her treats yet she loved him so much. Barry is smitten with her but then Barry would love any bunny as he is that type of gentle bunny and a bit of a clown.
He hid when Mike went in with the feed's so that was the answer we wanted that he was happy to stay there with Ruby. I shall sleep better knowing Ruby is not alone. I hope more than anything that they will bond as they both need somebunny to love.

They seem quite happy laying there side by side. Barry looks so content and relaxed! The fact that he hid seals the deal. He wanted to stay there with her! I think it is so sweet!

Barry the Bun is still laid against the partition with Ruby at the other side, we were watching them both last night when the light's went off and Barry was still bouncing about

I am not surprised that he was bouncing around. He has been promised partners before but finally one seems to have arrive!

He was suppose to have been bonded with Lucy Rose but we decided that he was to boistrous to be with Lucy Rose and in the meantime we have been busy trying to get Rosie and Murphy back together. It's only because Charlie has died that we have another female to bond him with.
It's not always easy with 24 bunnies to look after.

Plus now you have to book the church and go shopping for a hat

Are you sure? Flo said she'd swap him for Bruce if you like. The humping situation probably not decrease but Bruce is a bit more sneaky in his approach and at least knows which end to go for leaving plenty of scope to simply get up and walk away.

I'm not sure Flo realises what she would be letting herself in for. Gizmo is rather energetic. All the time. It's not normal. The Hu-parents have vowed never to let him and Rosie meet

Besides, although I do think Bruce is incredibly handsome, he's like a darker-haired version of my Daddy and that would just be weird

Flo says you should take up boxing then, it worked for her when she first met Bruce. That is why she is so confident she would sort Gizmo out. Get your humum to give you a one bun sized box with a small hole in. Sit in there and every time he approaches give him a quick 1-2 on the nose. It saves you from being told off for biting what is left of his manly bits.

They are smashing Kelly they seem to be very interested in each other and I have contacted the original owners to let them know what is going on as they were heartbroken to give Ruby and Charlie up and so I have kept them upto date since we took them both on. I sent them the latest photos of Ruby and Barry next to each other in the shed and they are very happy for Ruby
