How long after a neuter...?
How long would you wait until trying to bond Davie with Skye? Its been a week since his neuter. Skye is obviously already spayed, so how long does it take for male hormones to "wear off"? I know they say 6-8 weeks, but it would be great if i could bond them during the week off at the end of May.

Re: How long after a neuter...?
I'm by no means an expert on this because I've had only one boy bun, and even then, I've only had him a few months!!
I got Junior neutered at 12/13 weeks old and let him and Molly back together after 4 full weeks. Before his op he was such a hump monster that he was driving me crazy!!! I've not seen him try to hump her once since, so his hormones have obviously died down.
I'm not sure if this will be any help to you at all because they are brother and sister and have always been together, but I didn't want to read and run

Re: How long after a neuter...?
Davie did have a *lot* of hormones by the sound of it
I reckon the end of May should be fine - I'd try them close to each other and see what reaction you get

I know he did They do seem to be getting less though. Hes pooing in his litter tray more now, he hasnt pee'd on my floor for a few days and his little lipstick hasnt come out for a few days now either. I actually managed to have him out free ranging for a few hours today, he couldnt be out for longer than 20 minutes before as i was constantly being circled or cleaning up wee!!
