Mummy Let Me Out!!!!!!!!
Deeva had been having a good run about (a good 3hours or so) and hopped back into her house for the first time so rather than beditme chase I said that is it for tonight Miss it is bedtime! The end result was Deeva doing the "well if you won't let me out I will chew my way out!"
Had I the ability this would have been accompanied by the song "I want to break free!" I wonder if she will actually still in her house when I get up tomorrow!
BTW She is still at it now!!!

You mean she expects to get everything she wants too! She was chewing at the door when I came down this morning so she is now charging about rather happily.
She really is a character-anyone would think she had to live upto her name!

Re: Mummy Let Me Out!!!!!!!!
How can you deny that tiny adorable face
Tigger used to do this all the time when she was younger and I had to shut her in for the night. She does it now when I put her in the carry case except she's a lot bigger and stronger and she really shakes it.
I caught her doing it in the top of the hutch the night before last... The door was wide open.

I love my cousin Deeva. She has the most expressive ears
'And I am sure there is a secret trapdoor in my litter tray, if only I can land on it right...'

Re: Mummy Let Me Out!!!!!!!!
I had to do a double take earlier-she was charging about with BOTH ears UP!
I think I am going to watch my little Deeva
I have also discovered that the speaker wire from the thankfully old surround sound now looks like little strands of spaghetti! Then in the hallway (not sure HOW she got there) has a corner of pulled up/dug up carpet!
Sparky-what do you mean by the most expensive ears.....they were free with her

Awwww, I love how she hops away then comes back hoping it's open
Florence does this on her pen, even though it's huge. I call it her hamster impression

Deeva has mastered the 'meerkat' stance and expression! She shows it in the video!
I think I have finally bonded and become smitten with my little princess *

I don't think you're a bad mummy for admitting that, it took me ages to feel like Dougal was "mine". I liked him, and thought he was pretty, but he didn't feel like "mine".
I don't know when it happened, but one day I just referred to myself as his mummy, and since then we've gone from strength to strength.

There's quite a lot of them too
She is just adorable, how could you not? And you know Fudge will be pleased - he would want you to be happy and will be delighted that another bunny is benefitting from such a wonderful homeFudgesMummy wrote:I think I have finally bonded and become smitten with my little princess *

She seems to have lots of control of them for a bun so young! Uncle Matt says it is a female intelligence thing!FudgesMummy wrote:I think I have finally bonded and become smitten with my little princess *

It is hard to explain Fudge had been my baby and my life for 4.5years we had been through so much-don't get me wrong there was love there when I first met her but it is only now that the bond has become soo strong. YEsterday I really struggled and cried lots about Fudge and had little Deeva nudging me then doing a huge binky! She has bonded well to me and me to her-like every new relationship it seems like it has taken time...but now I really am smitten with my adorable Deeva!

Re: Mummy Let Me Out!!!!!!!!
I know the Hu-parents felt a bit odd about getting Layla five days after we lost Mrs D, but they felt they ought to for Jack. It was weird having her in 'Mrs D's place' but she has turned out to be such a charmer and a character that they are both now completely smitten with her.
Well, Hudad was a bit unsmitten when she bit his laptop cable in three, but apart from that they're completely smitten with her
It doesn't stop you loving and missing the one who is gone, but each bun is so different that you never 'replace' the one who is missing, and never forget them

I always refer to Deeva as Fudge's little sister and talk to her about her big brother
Deeva has such a strong personality-Fudge has his own character too, and I always said then I was sent my next furbaby they would been an absolute diva! I hadn't imaged ever having a little girl!

Re: Mummy Let Me Out!!!!!!!!
You are right Sparky love, when we loose a little one there has to be somewhere for all that love to go, so you just give it to another little bun. The feelings we all have for our lost ones are as strong as ever and will never change.

I'm sure precious Fudge is so happy that another bunny can experience your love for them. He wouldn't want you to be alone! Who knows...he might have sent Deeva your way!
