Vibes for Bruce (again!) please. u/d eating

He is off his food this morning. No touching of the yummy fresh noms. He his sort of pushing his bum out and holding his belly to the ground as well. I have dosed him up with metacam and ranitidine so fingers crossed he will improve. Flo seems like she doesn't want to eat either, but that is probably because Bruce is not eating as she seems lively enough in herself. At this stage Bruce doesn't seem to have a swolen belly or anything and I can't see any odd looking poos anywhere. I have to go out and now I am going to be worried the whole time.

I have just got back home, he still seems unwell. It is normally his teeth and he normally stops eating when it happens. But he normally goes much longer between dentals than he has recently. But that is why I have metacam and ranatidine to hand. He has opted not to go out in the garden which is very unusual. I am going to try and get some recovery in to him in a minute.

I hope he's just having an off day and it's not his horrid teeth. Hope the recovery works.

I have got about a dessertspoon of recovery into him and some more all over myself. He has gone out into the garden to get away from the mean hoomin that keeps chasing him with a recovery syringe. There is a lot of washing going on and worryingly it looked like Flo was really making a fuss of him earlier which is really unusual. He is looking really unhappy. The problem is that Bruce is such a wuss when it comes to pain that it makes it really difficultto work out when you reach the point where you call the emergency vets. I don't think we are there yet.

Oh look at that face I suppose buns all have different pain thresholds just like humans do. It must be hard to tell when the time is right, but you know him so well you'll probably instantly know.

He is better this evening. I spotted him nomming on some hay and he has had his glucosmaine on shredded wheat and is now out nomming a little grass. I have found previously that getting a bit of recovery in him is the thing he really needs to persuade him to eat. But he will be going to the vet tomorrow to have his teeth checked.

'Thanking you muchly for the vibes. As you can see I is nomming again now. The hoomin has moved some of the noms that were planted in somewhere called 'out of harms way' into the garden so us can nom them proper! Flo says something has already been nommin the big nom. The hoomin says catty pilus are the culprits but I thinks thats wrong as the cats I sees don't seem to like these noms. Thanking you muchly agin.'

He's still eating this morning which would indicate he got a bit stressed or had eaten something that did not agree with him (he is in moult again). But I am still going to have his teeth checked later.

I'm almost certain Jeeves didn't moult this bad last year, or maybe it wasn't as fast. Do you think the strange weather has something to do with it which makes them moult faster so they get poorly?
