Vibes for Bruce please - not teefs!

Bruce was off his food and sulking this morning. I gave some metacam and ranitidine and warm water, as is the normal way, and booked a vets appointment for 5pm. Normally he is bright when I get home again - not today. He was still sulking and it took a while to find him. We went to the vets. Not teeth spurs. His temp. is low, he has been panting a bit, his blood sugars are fine. I don't know what has caused this but the vet suspects it is stasis. He has had some metoclopramide, and come home and had some more metacam and ranitidine and some critical care. He is still sulking. So lots of vibes please for the international bun of mystery. If he doesn't buck up the vet has threatened him with a drip tomorrow.

Not heavily but a light constant moult. He came running for his pellets earlier but them only managed a few.

He's a wuss. He knows his tummy is hurting so he does not want to eat. He isn;t attempting hay - he just can't resist the promise of pellets.

Well things are much better this morning. He will be getting metacam and ranitidine for a couple of days as he is not 100% but he has eaten and we have poo.
