Cant win with British weather! Empty Cant win with British weather!

When its cold and wet, im miserable when its cold, and the buns are miserable when its hot! Rolling Eyes

Marley and Dolly havent been eating much. I know the weather has been hot, but they havent been finishing their pellets, or their veg or eating much hay and their poos are quite small and dark...Monsters like to worry me! Put hay in the hutch and the run today, so hopefully they will eat a bit more.

The heat is always a worry isn't it? Joey has very thick fur! Try to keep all the blinds shut so the sun doesn't heat the room too much. Luckily it's not as much of a sun trap as upstairs.

Mines are eating well, and drinking like fish, charlie never eats alot of hay but the other 2 do and they are eating plenty still. I seem to find when they get out to play in the garden there extra hungry.

They ate more yesterday, but their poos are still small and dark. Im not sure what else to do, other than keep topping their hay and water up and feeding them their usual stuff. They arent ill, i know its the heat, but their poo is rubbish!

I read (sorry I don't remember where) that when there is a possibility of dehydration that increasing the amount of very juicy fruit or diluted fruit juice helps replace vitamins and other nutrients while helping their poos to remain more normal.

Blackberries, cranberries and raspberries have the lowest sugar content. And blackberries are in season...a month and a half early! Here they are usually peaking around out 4th of July holiday.

Might be time to get the ice pods or frozen waterbottles out to cool them down a bit and make them more comfortable during the day. We have been lucky really as marmalade and molly are outside but in a corner of the garden near the house that doesn't get much sun and is pretty cool, and marshall is enjoying the air conditioning of inside Laughing

There were 2 or 3 days last week when Myrtle loved running round the garden - it was just right, but now she sits inside in the shade till quite late in the evening before venturing out Love
