Re: can buns
Carrot tops are better for buns than the actual carrot itself, so yes they can have it. But I've also been told it's not good for your bun to give them an entire carrot as they're high in sugar. I normally pick up from the market carrot tops as many people ask for them to be cut off so they'd just chuck them away otherwise, and I think Nibbler loves the tops just as much as he loves the carrot

Re: can buns
I don't give buns an entire carrot, I give them an inch or two every other night. When we get the bunches with tops they get the tops each night until they run out, they love them!
Only problem is they want more carrot tops but I've got too many carrots already! would be great if you could just buy carrot tops.

Do you have a food market near you? Leicester thankfully has a very big market and there's lots of veg being sold there, I just approach the stalls and ask if they've got any unwanted carrot tops as people ask for them to be removed and they mostly give it you free of charge as they were just going to chuck them.

Re: can buns
Ours love Carrots.....they rarely get the whole thing though - just the tops mostly.
However, as its been so hot the last couple of days I have given them a small one each nice and cold from the fridge to help cool them down.
