I am so, so sorry Jo. Please know that I am so going through this one with you. Sending so much love yours & Snuffies way It scares me how much I love them.
Rhia saw the vet again this morning. I had made up my mind that whatever happens, She wont be being opened up. I just cant give consent for it, As I think I said in an earlier post, If I lose her I want her to be cosy, where she knows, with people she knows love her. The thought of this amazing strong, feisty girl dying on an operating table being cut open? I wont see it happen. There has been some improvement today. It is the first time that I have thought that we might just make this, although I am being practical, not too hopeful - Its going to be one hell of a long road. And if we do fix the stasis, there is the huge concern of what is underlying. She is having skull Xrays done this week, as I personally dont believe it is a problem abdominally, but somewhere in her head - her ears, her jaw? I dont know. We'll keep fighting on for as long as we can. I have just cancelled my much-needed break that I was going on tomorrow....

Re: Rhia U/D Mon Pg 9!!
Thank you Becki love, that really means a lot to me.
Oh sweetheart, I am so with you too, this all seems so unfair. LIke Snuffie, she is going to need a lot of extra care. Snuffie now lives on my bed and I have to keep making sure he has food and fresh water and cuddles throughout the day.
As to the cause of poor Rhia's illness, go with you gut instinct; whatever it is telling you. It is like women who have sick children, if the doctors listened to the mothers whose instinct is known to be spot on, it would save a lot of heartache and frustration. It is the same for us, our bunnies are our babies and often we just know what is wrong.
Please keep us updated.
Lots of love to you both.

Re: Rhia U/D Mon Pg 9!!
so sorry I have missed this, ive been so preoccupied with buttons being ill.
I'm glad she is showing better signs! and I think the same that I wouldn't be able to have my little boy cut open in hope and the thought of losing him there and not being with him!
Sending lots of that she continues to recover!!
p.s out of interest how much did an x-ray cost you? (my vet is wanting to charge me £140!)

Only know as I've literally just been told ten mins ago, £200 for her Xray today (Third time shes had xrays this month...My vet bills are quite something at the moment!)
I've just dropped her off & my stomach is going to be churning til I have her home. I had a horrendous night with her last night, Just do not know what was ailing her - She was so cross & kept me up ALL night. Lets see what today brings....Thanks for continued thoughts & vibes xxx

How much?!!!!
I think I paid about £70 for teeth and spine xrays for Bruce at christmas time. The whole bill including dental came to £120

Yes Cheryl, I concur how much?? Some of them really are over priced but having said that, I don;t know what ours charges as we have never had to have an xray thank goodness.
I am so sorry Becky love for what you are going through and I can understand exactly how anxious you are as we all can.
Please let us know soonest.
