Thunder Storm!
Loud thunder woke me up an hour early this morning and i got up in a blind panic worrying about the rabbits! Ive not heard thunder or rain like it, so i grabbed a carrier and went to check on them. Hughie was sat on his shelf looking out of the window - I swear he doesnt move from that spot! and Marley and Dolly were snuggled up by the cat flap. Im supposed to be at the vets today, but i think im going to stay at home. Its supposed to rain heavily all day and there are flood warnings accross the north. Im worried about leaving the bunnies at home incase i cant get home quickly to bring them in.
I doubt it will get as bad as it did in Newcastle, but id never forgive myself if their playhouses flooded! Has anyone else had any problems? I swear i saw a local town on the news this morning, but i cant find anything on the internet.

Re: Thunder Storm!
Were on amber alert in Yorkshire.
It was like a river in front of our house yesterday.
Lightening bolts and bangs of thunder, the buns never flinched.
I thought you meant a carrier bag at 1st .

So are we. Im in Saltburn, which never floods properly, just in certain places. The road down the side of our house is like a small river It only becomes a problem when the drains back up, but the water loves to pool outside the playhouses.

Re: Thunder Storm!
Sigh...I love thunderstorms. We need rain so badly. It's so dry out they have even banned any outdoor cooking unless it is on an electric range and then only if it is on concrete. It is THAT dry! Really stiff fine too. So please send rain! It's been so warm that the grains have long been harvested and the farmers are growing alternate crops just to hold the soil!

We (humum pretends it's hers) have a Thundercat in the garage that makes a louder noise Looks prettier too, it's a Kenny Roberts replica

Re: Thunder Storm!
We had a bit of thunder last night but it wasn't too bad. I thought Nibbler would be bothered but he didn't seem to care when it actually thundered. He was thumping for ages before it started, I had no idea what the thumping was about (I was eating my dinner so couldn't get down to give him some attention, but whenever I asked him what was wrong there was another thump) so I've assumed it was because of the storm that was coming.
I find it really difficult sometimes understanding what he's thumping about as sometimes when he does it nothing has changed at all, he's just started thumping. I've thought before maybe he wants some attention, sometimes he settles but the majority of the time he does a robot walk away from me as he's all nervous about something, but I have no idea what does anyone else get this?
