Introducing.....
Matilda The latest addition to our bun family. Believe it or not but DH has seen the light and sees what I see when I look at bunnies He took a fancy to this one because of her agouti colouring and because she is just so friendly. She is 9 weeks old and is just stunning And the best bit is, she is a continental giant, I have hankered after one of these for ages but we never had suitable accomodation to house one. I wanted a conti doe for Boo but she would never had fitted down the runaround tunnel so we kept to mini rexes.
Here are some photos of her, she is indoors at the mo whilst I sort out the flooring in the avairy.
She especially likes snuggling into DH and tooth purrs at him all the time She is his bun I suppose, he never would have gone for it had he not fallen in love with her. I may introduce her over a very slow bond to my rex trio so they can play together but I will see how she gets on. (maybe DH will fall in love with a belgian hare buck next )

Re: Introducing.....
Oh my, she is lovely
I'm glad your DH has seen the light
Don't tell Hudad, but Humum has a hankering for a Conti. She thinks it's Kate's fault for the gorgeous Benji. But she can't have one. Yet
If she is going in the aviary, is that with the Vince trio?
Perhaps you could persuade DH that his bunny ought to be a house bun..... then at some point in the future remind him that she needs a husbun... a Belgian Hare husbun

Re: Introducing.....
Ha ha, I've wanted a conti for ages but always felt a bit wary of getting one because of the size they grow. Now that DH is on board I feel better that he will want the best for her too so won't mind ensuring she has a large home to live in. She won'tbe going in the Vince, Hazel is a right grumpy so and so with other buns so Matilda will be a lone bun in that respect. I do plan however to bond her with the rexes as they are a friendly bunch, but she will not live with them, she will need something much bigger than waht they have plus she will never fit down the runaround tunnels I have.
At the mo she is a house bun, she has a large indoor cage at the mo as she is so tiny but she free ranges part of the kitchen when we are in and DH doesn't object. (he's go nuts if my other buns were in there!!) Maybe if she is not much of a chewer she can stay indoors I'm sorting out the spare avairy for her for now though as that gives her enough outdor space.

Re: Introducing.....
She is absolutely stunning
Good looks and a friendly temperament always win them over. Willow will tell you... mum was adamant I wasn't having any other pets but she soon won her over, too
