Re: Indoor rabbit cages
Megazorb is made as a horse bedding so ring round your local equine suppliers to see if they stock it. Much cheaper this way than paying for postage.

this is where I get my zorb from, but if you can find a local supplier it will save you postage as Cheryl said. Garden centres are worth approaching about stocking it in for you too.
The crate layout looks heaps better, the crate will just be a sleep place but if you are not shutting s/he in then it's the overall space that is important. They probably will sleep in their litter tray like some of mine do so it is worth getting a storage tub for that!

Re: Indoor rabbit cages
I definitely like the crate better, it will just be a sleeping/eating place, and it's more than big enough for that!
Right I think I have everything worked out now, just need to get permission from the parents

Re: Indoor rabbit cages
Either of those are absoloutley fine, although he/she may decide it makes a better litter tray or a fantastic digging toy and you will have wasted your money. For now, i would say your better off using a cardboard box or a carrier as a bolt hole, at least until you get to know what your bun likes.
I see you have to get your parents permission. Your parents might not be as enthusiastic about having the bunny free range as you are, in which case, the dog crate isnt really suitable to be shut in for more than a couple of hours a day. So you may have to re think some of this depending on what your parents say. I hope you dont mind me asking, but how old are you? x

It wouldn't be free ranging, it would have a run attached to it's crate (see plans on page two) it would be allowed out in my room but only when I am in there. I am 21, so I'm not a little kid or anything, it's just I still live at home (whilst I am attending uni) so obviously I have to get their permission.
