URGENT! Fosterers desperately needed!

Pawz for Thought have a large number of rabbits for rehoming, and a further 6 have come in in the last week. We desperately need fosterers.

We have hutches available if needed.

Wish i could help Sue. I have contacted them in the past but they said i was too far away Ill put a post on the Marley and Friends facebook group for you.
ETA: Where exactly are they based?

The charity "HQ" is in Sunderland, the "rabbit lady" is based just along the road from me. I think the issue is travelling time and petrol costs for getting the rabbits around and home visits.

Hiya im in sunderland and might be able to help althou I dont know what criteria I need to meet and dont have cages or hutches (ive been trying to get some as wanted to help foster. Also my sister might be interested but shes in northumberland but does drive!

Ive been browsing for some time and wanted to help. I just wasnt sure how I could. We currently have one male piggy and im hoping to bond him to a rescue piggy very soon so I can adopt another so would love to be a foster mammy as well if I can

I have also shopped in the charity shop for pawz for thought for the past 3 and a half years!

Since I posted this, we have had 3 people get in touch about fostering, so all being well with home visits we will have more wonderful helpers.

We are so full of bunnies. They are coming in, but not going out at the moment

I wish we could help Sue I really do but with 26 of our own and boarding buns we are struggling in many ways as it is, else we would.

Thats brilliant news, i hope they are all suitable fosterers. It seems to be the cases with all bunnies Sue, not just rescues. Although breeders not being able to sell their stock is probably a good thing, maybe it will persuade them to stop breeding?...we can only hope!

We have 28 listed on our site, plus some babies, plus some that came in over the weekend

Luckily there are some wonderful people around who can help the charities keep going.

Everyone but those contacting Pawz He is one of our longest term residents, along with Sam and Sooty. I love Sooty's fluffy white coat, and Sam is all velvety and smooth.

Awww Sue, i really wish i could do more to help. Pawz is probably the closest reputable rescue to me, and if i ever adopt any bunnies in the future then im pretty sure ill be off to pawz!

For now though, im sticking with trying to find Hughie a home and keeping the gruesome twosome. Im so worried about uni, id like to go to York so i can come home on weekends and be with them, but its doubtful. Theyve got me through so much, it will be awful having to leave them, even if they are with Maysie and Mike. Im hoping to God that i can take them with me, but im not sure.

Sue would you like me to print out some of the buns needing homes at Pawz for Thought and put them up on my boarding shed notice board and in my indoor bunny suites room you never know
