she's been three times to vet for clipping in the last two months but they seem to just trim them to this size so just assumed was ok for athis breed,
do you think i should get my son to take her back to his vet for another trim ?

They do look a bit long, Rob - I thought that last time you showed us pics when her feet were sore too. But it might just be the angle you're holding her at. Can you see the veins running up the middle of the claws? Are they a long way past that? I thought long claws could make sore hocks worse, as the foot does not sit on the ground at the right angle....
