ooooooooooops! don't laugh!!!
Ok so today I go to get megazorb from the horsey place down the road. I remember I need readigrass so I asked for "a bag of readigrass", and they put this massive bale of the stuff in my car.
Now it was only £10, so was a bargain, but WTF do I do with it?! Its still in my car atm! Its too big to fit in the noms cupboard that's for sure
Do you think it will work as a coffee table?!
I've figured even if I give half of it away I'm still up, as a small bag is about £4 to £5. But it is a bit eeeeeeek

It would only work as a coffee table until one of the dastardly duo chewed a hole in the bag, then you would have an indoor lawn
You could put a cover on it and call it a modern bean-bag
The hu-parents got one of the big bags once - it lasted a dozen of us about 8 months I'm sure one of your local rescues will appreciate some. I think the little bag is 1kg and the big one 15kg so you certainly got more than you bargained for

Re: ooooooooooops! don't laugh!!!
My two are addicted to it right now, and with Dougals potential teeth issue I've been letting them have a bowl full each day. The more grazing he can do the better, but I think letting him munch on all that might not help his weight problem
I hadn't thought they might vew through it, and you can guarantee they would as they can't get enough of it. Even if I used some in their litter tray it would still be loads!! It would last about two years at your reckoning Sparky
I wonder if the diddy girls might like some
I specifically said "a bag of"as I knew you could get bales, I shouldve known when she went and got the sack truck
I just hope I don't see anyone in the lift when I bring it up to the flat!

My pair get a handful of it each day and the pigs bed on it in the winter. It is really good value in the big bales. Brilliant stuff!
We go through 3-4 bales a year.

Re: ooooooooooops! don't laugh!!!
We buy a 15kg bag of Readigrass and it cost's us £12. 29p and we just put it where there is a space
it's cheaper for us to buy it this way.

I think if you are going to use it as a coffee table you could drape a nice tablecloth over it first and nobody would know
that it's a large bag of Readigrass or you could use it as a foot rest with a nice fleece thrown over it
* See I'm full of usefull little tip's *

Re: ooooooooooops! don't laugh!!!
I would have loved to have timed Dougal to see how much he could eat in a day! He'd give it a good go
I got a huge bin bag full off of the bale, and it didn't even make a dent in it so I cheekily asked my mother-in-law if I could store it in her garden she was delighted to help, and it saved me lugging the thing upstairs, the megazorb was hard enough!!
Florence and Dougal are off to boarding next Sunday, and I'll probably take some of it with me, I don't need that much and even if I get another two bin bags full I'm up as it was only £10. Although their pen does now look like a lawn as I gave them quite a bit this morning

Could you not get a wheelie bin to go on the balcony and store it in that?
