Should we laugh?

Should we laugh when our buns do something that makes them look really silly?
We tend to laugh at other humans when they trip, fall, slip on a banana skin etc. The unfortunate individual who is the target of our mirth must be so embarrassed.
So should I have embarrassed Henry by laughing at him this morning when he tripped over an extra long stalk of hay that he was eating, and just couldn't abandon in his mad dash to get his breakfast Burgess this morning. His stumbling and scrambling was not in the least dignified and really quite hilarious, but after splitting my sides I did feel a tad guilty.

Mhmmm.  I can see where you are coming from.
Twig said at the conference that bunnies are sensitive to being laughed at or about.
I personally think it is ok as it is a normal reaction and no harm meant.
If I laugh or giggle at Bubbles she will start thumping.

Well, Henners sort of buried his embarrassment in his food dish, along with his face. But for a split second I thought I saw a hurt look in his body language.
Maybe our bond as reached the really sensitive stage where those subtle, fleeting feelings are becoming clear. I remember Clawed and Loll both showed distinct discomfort in similar circumstances.

My two certainly know when I'm having a giggle at their expense. Doesn't stop me though

I think it is hard not to laugh sometimes, although I do try and keep it short. Just watching Holly and the guinea pigs sometimes makes me really laugh but I understand what you mean about really laughing at them when they have done something clumsy.
