The new foster pen
The foster babies are growing up so fast that the pen and hutch arrangement which seemed adequate a couple of weeks ago really didn't seem adequate at all any more. Hudad moved the gates on our driveway forward to create a bit more space, and knocked them up new quarters
Their hutch was exactly the right size to sit on a pallet he had, then he used bits of the old corner hutch to pen round the outside. He put a wooden batten on the house wall so he could completely roof it in poly-carb which he had kicking around so it'll stay nice and dry and cosy in there. They've not been allowed upstairs because the ramp is just rubbish, so he is going to build some steps up to the top door on the outside of the hutch instead, with hidey-holes under the steps for them to play in too.
The whole front of the pen opens, and the babies have been allowed out into the drive today for a bit of a play, which they loved. They have no fear at all, and even went and pulled faces at the Reggie-troll
Humum is quite impressed with it, seeing as it was put together from bits and pieces, didn't cost a penny, and Hudad did half of it in a pouring rainstorm

it's amazing what you can put together with a bit of imagination and some recycling of what you already have Great work!

Re: The new foster pen
It's just fantastic but I wouldn't expect anything less from Hudad as he has brilliant ideas and
think's about everything when it comes to the bunnies, I like the way he has even made sure they
have a canopy to keep them nice and dry...it's just brilliant
