Sophie - just listen to your friend politely and then do what you want! Your buns, your rules.

Maysie, glad to hear things are OK so far although very wet. Was thinking about you today as I know you are near the wettest area.

Ive been watching the news tonight, and i never imagined it was that bag!! Shocked Some of my friends couldnt get home from college aparently!

Checked Hughie this evening and it was getting wet again. The water is coming from his catflap! His fleeces and stuff were wet because he was hopping up with sodden feet! Ive covered it with a bag for tonight, dried up the floor again and rolled a towel up to absorb any water until i can get some sealant. Poor Hughie. Hes not cold and his feet arent sore, hes just quite happy with his hay and veggies bless him Love

Aw poor Hughie - the rain is getting in through BJ and Rosies's door too. It has rained constantly here today in Horwich again. Sometimes living at the top of Winter Hill has it's benefits. I'm fed up though at having to clean the buns out in double quick time to keep everything dry and not being able to spend any time with them.

Mike has just spent ages in a traffic jam as there has been a bad accident and he was on his way to the tip he eventually got to the tip and it's closed due to flooding he then went to where we get our rabbit food and treats from as he want's a heavy dish for Snickers water as he keeps throwing it and soaking his mat...and that place is closed due to flooding as well. It's not good at all.

Our back garden is now like a bog you need wellington boots on to get to the boarding shed and there look's to be rain all week Sad

Shocked
Is the shed at risk of flooding Maysie?
It hasnt stopped here all day, i havent been out as im not well today but there have been roads closed. Thankfully our garden doesnt really flood. The wind blew my straw all over the place when i was cleaning them out this morning, so it looks like a stable yard Laughing Im going to go and see if Hughie is still dry soon. If he is, it was deffinitley the catflap that let the water in. I might get a video/pictures. He hasnt made an appearance for a few weeks. Smile

No the shed is ok it's slightly off the ground and we are quite lucky as we are higher up here, the grass is sodden and there is flooding on the lane outside our house but compared to a lot of people we can't complain, the next Village Skeeby has it bad.
It's still raining though Sad

Still raining here this morning - but it does look slightly less grey! There may be a chance that the rain will stop cheers

The soil is clay around here so the grass at the back of the house is now a squelchy mess Sad
