Willow's eye :( U/D 16/10/12 - It's back :(
I think Willow has a slight infection in her one eye
She's got gunk coming out of it and it looks watery and red.
I've been bathing it with cooled down water that has been boiled, and she's at the vets tomorrow for her injection anyway so I will ask them to take a look then, but in the mean time could we have some Hopper Vibes for Willow's eye please?
Thanks

Re: Willow's eye :( U/D 16/10/12 - It's back :(
She may have a little bit of fur or tiny piece of hay that's in her eye or she could have a spur starting on a back molar as that can cause a weepy eye sometimes.
Simon's eye runs when his teeth start.
Sending her lots of Vibes for her weepy eye and hope it's soon better xxxxxxxxxxx

Yes that was our first thought Maysie, but I will be asking the vet to check her teeth tomorrow anyway as she did have that phase where she went off her hay, although she's back to normal hay eating wise now so I'd think not.
But better to be safe than sorry!

Lots of vibes for Willow
If it does need bathing, salt in the water will help keep it clean and soothe it

Cold tea is also good, without milk of course, just pour boiling water over a teabag in a mug and let it go cool and dip some cotton wool
into it and bathe eye

Willow had a block tear duct guys, I've got some ointment to put in once a day for a week and the vet thinks that should clear it up.
It's certainly interesting trying to administer it
I kept her occupied with a bit of Romaine Lettuce earlier which did the trick
