Jasper now named Mojo has arrived! :-)
Here are some pics of the little guy. He's settled in pretty well already
I am in love, I will be so gutted if they don't bond
But we will persevere and they're side by side with about 4 inches between them at the moment and they're both really intrigued
Anyone have any idea what breed(s) he might be? The RSPCA home-checker thought he might have a bit of Angora in him.
Hope you like him guys!

Re: Jasper now named Mojo has arrived! :-)
Thanks guys
I have just about everything crossed that him and Willow are going to get on. They keep sticking their noses through the bars with an "Oooh, who are you?" expression on their faces
It's weird not having Willow in my room though!
Maysie I am going to google Cashmere Lionhead

Re: Jasper now named Mojo has arrived! :-)
Can find plenty of photos of Cashmere lops but not Cashmere Lionheads, he could just be a hairy boy, I don't think he is angora as we have an angora bun and her coat is short and thick and Mojo's coat look's slightly long that's what made me think he was a Cashmere cross maybe

Re: Jasper now named Mojo has arrived! :-)
I couldn't find any either Maysie
Hmm, I haven't really stroked him much because I just want to let him settle, but I had a snuggle with him yesterday and his coat felt more long than short definitely. He's very soft as well
I don't really mind what he is, he's just bloomin' cute!

Re: Jasper now named Mojo has arrived! :-)
I would have put him as a cashmere cross. If you look up cashmere you can see he has a similar coat but it is not thick enough for angora. I would have said lionhead though as the fur around his neck area looks to be shorter than that around his bum area. I did look him up on the worcester RSPCA site before you put up the photos - it is a good job that they say he likes being groomed as will have to do lots of that!

Re: Jasper now named Mojo has arrived! :-)
Ooh a fluffster - he is seriously cute
Definately some lionhead going on there, he may develop more of a ruff as he gets older. BJ can without a ruff but once the lionhead gene really kicked in there was no stopping his facial hair!
I hope that Willow is just as smitten with him as you are. How could she not be

Re: Jasper now named Mojo has arrived! :-)
Thanks everyone
Willow is obsessed with him. She keeps hopping over to the section where they can see each other (he only has the dog cage bars to see her through and the rest of his space is a fabric run) and if he doesn't go over to say hello to her then she gets really upset
He's settled in really well. I went in to check on them earlier and he was flopped out on his little blankey looking all sleepy, as was Willow. So they're obviously happy in each other's company
Cheryl, I know he's going to take a lot of grooming. I can't wait, I've always wanted a fluffy
Thanks
He is teeny tiny! He is about the same size as a Nethie. The RSPCA homechecker has a tiny Nethie in at the moment for foster and she said he is certainly no bigger than him, so he makes Willow look even more enormous
I did meet Herbie but poor little Mojo just looked so sad and had the "take me home" expression on his face, and as I thought he had had a horrible time of it. He was a cruelty case, they took him and three others (including Herbie). They were totally unmanaged and poor old Mojo was covered in matts as he is a fluffy which had to be cut out of him (that's why his fur looks short in some spots and long in others)
And you'll all be pleased to know, the homechecker told me that Herbie has found a new home too
So that's another two needy buns in happy homes now!

I know Sparky, his blue eyes are absolutely stunning. They're even more beautiful when you see him in the fur. They're so blue and they almost sparkle And then he has little white head and he also has white tippy toes on his front feet! Eeek!

He did indeed Gentl. He just didn't seem like a "Jasper" to me, far more like a "Mr Mojo!"
