Someone had ten minutes outside!
Domino looked so much brighter today, I let him have a wander around the conservatory. I filmed him, and you can clearly see he is struggling sight wise - his eyes are "luminescent", and glow on the camera, something I have never seen before. The conservatory is a new place to him, he doesnt know it. so he just didnt wander around at all because he didnt know where he was.
So, Mum suggested I put him outside, i was like "NO WAY" but then she said its where he knows. So...I plonked him outside for ten minutes and oh my god he was SO happy. He happily had a little wander around and nibbled the grass, he felt safe. It zonked him out and now he is asleep on his cushion and blankets again but he loved it. Until it gets too cold I will keep letting him have ten mins outside because he stretched his legs properly, and thats going to do him the world of good.

Re: Someone had ten minutes outside!
Bless him - I am sure spending some time on the grass will do him the world of good. Such a brave bunny
I wonder if the EC has caused cataract changes within his eyes hence the luminescence. I seem to remember this from somewhere.
You are looking after him so well, am sending loads of vibes that he continues to improve

Re: Someone had ten minutes outside!
He notices things but he can't see as well as he could before you have to point out food to him etc so Its clear his sight is damaged but he can still see to a certain extent. He hasnt got cataracts though which is the strange thing his eyes are literally just pure blue/green in the centre.
Thank you He is being so brave bless him.

His head tilt looks like it has improved a lot. It is good to see he is making progress.

Oh my favourite boy Domino!
I think he looks so much better - I know there is a way to go but he looks like he is getting there to me.
Sending him loads of nose rubs x x x x

To be honest they are fine without him, i think they miss him a bit but they arent suffering too much at all as they have each other.

Re: Someone had ten minutes outside!
Gosh, SJ, he is looking so much better! His head tilt is almost normal looking. I was really surprised at that.
I think putting him outside is a really good thing as it will make him feel that things are returning to normal a bit more. He must be missing the girls and his old life. Hoping he continues to keep improving as he is such a dear wee chap.

Re: Someone had ten minutes outside!
Thats the thing Nickie, he is a bun who LOVES outside, he doesnt like being indoors that much. In his ideal world he would be half and half I expect! But he loves the grass and he was just so happy, it was amazing to see. Am going to do it again on the next sunny day and film it.
I hope he can live outside again I really do, i think hes going to be okay now though - whether he lives inside or not, Im sure we are out of the woods now.
Its just a question of how much mobility will he get back etc.
