A bang to the head :(
Junior has just whacked Molly on the head with the hay tunnel It's the smallest one you get and it's blimmin solid!!! It's half chewed, he was holding it in his mouth from the middle and was about to fling it when he hit her.
It was a proper whack, I heard it!!! She's now blinking an awful lot and her ears are down
Bad Junior!!!!
Not sure why I'm posting, I know I need to watch her, make sure she's eating, not in pain etc.
Poor girl

It's probably shocked Molly more than anything she should be ok just keep an eye on her. I don't expect poor Junior meant to do it

Re: A bang to the head :(
Thanks guys
He definitely didn't do it on purpose, she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I think I'll get the crunchies out and see if I can get her ears back up!

He definitley didnt do it on purpose
That made me laugh, do rabbits actually make a concious decision to beat their husbands and wives up with their toys?

Re: A bang to the head :(
Nothing would surprise me I've certainly seen them whack each other when they're fighting over a toy/treat. I kid you not, and I don't know if its "normal" rabbit behaviour, but they swipe like catsmarleyNfriends wrote:He definitley didnt do it on purpose

When my OH first saw them do it, he thought it was the funniest thing
Molly says thank you for the sympathy, she feels for you tooSparky wrote:I think it's going to be one crunchie per ear.

Re: A bang to the head :(
Marley and Dolly box each other for the last treat sometimes, then chase eachother round. It is funny to watch, there was hell on last night after i put 2 in a toilet roll tube and squashed the ends down!!

Bless Molly's heart(and head!) What a shock for her. Sending vibes to Molly and some for you. I'm sure the 2 crunchie suggestion Sparky made will work!

Bless Molly's 'lil heart and head! She probably has her feelings hurt too even though Junior had no idea what he did. I hope she is both ears up by now.
